Astro Offshore, part of the Adani Group, has acquired two platform supply vessels (PSVs) and begun operations in West Africa.

The vessels, Astro Rastaban (built in 2020) and Astro Rigel (built in 2023), bring the company’s fleet to 44 and mark its first presence in the region.

The company is also adding two anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in the coming weeks and expects two barges to be completed in 2025.

Astro Offshore has been growing in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, aiming to keep its fleet modern and ready for new projects.

“Our move into West Africa with PSVs shows our commitment to building a strong presence in the region,” said Mark Humphreys, CEO of Astro Offshore.
