The Port Autonome de Cotonou has officially launched its new visual identity at a ceremony held at the Novotel in Cotonou, bringing together key stakeholders from government, diplomacy, and the port and logistics sector.
The event was attended by senior government officials, including the Minister of Living Environment and Transport in charge of Sustainable Development, the Director General of the Port Autonome de Cotonou, members of the diplomatic corps, and industry stakeholders.
With this new identity, the Port Autonome de Cotonou restates its goal of strengthening its role as a leading logistics hub in West Africa. The change goes beyond branding and reflects ongoing efforts to modernise infrastructure, services, and governance across the institution.
Speakers at the ceremony highlighted the strategic importance of the Port of Cotonou to both the national and regional economies. They also recognised the reforms aimed at improving competitiveness and responding to the needs of international trade.
The new logo presented at the event represents a modern and forward-looking institution. It is paired with the brand signature “Your Committed Partner”, which reflects the port’s focus on building stronger relationships with clients, partners, and host communities.
The new identity builds on the anniversary milestone of the Port Autonome de Cotonou and reflects its continued role in supporting economic development in Benin while moving into a new phase of growth.
Through this transformation, the Port Autonome de Cotonou reinforces its commitment to ongoing modernisation and its position as a key driver of trade and regional economic integration.
